About us:
Dejex Supplies is a progressive family run business specialising in commercial horticultural and agricultural supplies. With years of experience in the horticulture and agriculture industries we focus on good quality traditional service achieved by understanding our customers’ needs. We’re not like the rest, and don’t just sell products from catalogues, we understand them and their application and are always looking for new and innovative products and solutions.
A family business.......
After starting out in commercial horticulture and irrigation Ron Stevenson incorporated Dejex Supplies in 1981 alongside the engineer Dennis Jex, creating the name DE-JEX. Dennis decided to change path not long after the business’s inception and went on to establish a successful engineering company. But the name has stuck around, and so have the Stevensons, Ron continues to run the business with his wife, Rowena Stevenson, keeping check on the accounts and their son, Alex Stevenson, helping manage the day to day running of the business. Both Ron and Rowena come from farming backgrounds and Alex has grown up immersed in the family’s agricultural and horticultural businesses. We have an extremely low staff turnover with many of our employees working for us for decades rather than years, so as a team we hope to offer you experience and understanding.
A wide product range.......
Unlike most we’re not just interested in selling the big ticket items, we know it takes more to run a nursery or a farm than the lorry loads of substrate and fertiliser. That’s why we’re committed to stocking a wide range of sundries from PVC pipe fittings and valves to PPE and knapsack spares. We carry over 3,500 products in stock so hopefully when things grind to a halt; we’ve got that widget that will get you going again.
Local knowledge.......
Dejex Supplies is located in Donington near Spalding in the heart of the Lincolnshire Fens home to some of the country’s largest growers and fresh produce companies. We concentrate on providing excellent service in a relatively small geographic area covering Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire. By doing this our knowledge of the local horticulture industry is second to none, meaning we understand our customers’ requirements, endeavouring to get goods despatched in good time and arranging deliveries with growers to suit their schedules.
