During 2023 Dejex will be working with nurseries in the protected edibles and soft fruit sectors to carry out trials of Klasmann Deilmann’s new Growbag ADVANCED concept. Trials have already been carried out in Germany, Holland and Belgium and Dejex are now carrying out further studies in the UK to increase the data in different growing systems and climates.
The Growbag ADVANCED solution offers growers the opportunity to both reduce CO₂ emissions and move to a circular solution without compromising yields and quality. Most growers are heavily reliant on perlite, rock wool and coir all with questionable environmental credentials. The Growbag ADVANCED product allows growers to transition to a more sustainable solution without large capital costs of changing their growing system.
