All our customers who are users of professional pesticides, referred to as Professional Plant Protection Products (PPP's), need to be aware of the deadline approaching to register as a user.
The Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA) and Health and Safety Executive (HSE) require any business, organisation or sole trader that uses professional PPP’s and adjuvants to register to comply with regulations.
Last year businesses such as Dejex which import, store and supply professional pesticides had to register with DEFRA and the HSE, this registration scheme is now cascading further down the supply chain to all users of products. The registration is quick and simple to carry out online and can be found by following the attached link:
The deadline for registration is fast approaching and should be done by the 22nd June 2022. For the purposes of this registration PPPs are considered to be:
• insecticides
• fungicides
• herbicides
• molluscicides
• plant growth regulators
